Remembering Everyone Met

Product Description
Recalling my interest in alternative autobiography as well as an experimental desire to write literate memoirs formally different from the common runs, I want to see what results from trying to remember everyone I ve ever met about whom I could say something not only true but succinctly significant. Stylistically, this memoir essays a form between the “thumbnail sketch and the succinct factual biography. Personally, it s an exercise in selective memory. The fact that I ve met most people individually, rather than as, say, colleagues in an institution or students in class, perhaps accounts for why nearly all can be remembered as separate entries. Their names appear in roughly chronological order defined by the first time each person entered my life. Though many of them are still alive, may I judiciously assume that we re all mature enough to accept truths about one another? (People whose names rarely, if ever, appear in print are often surprised, if not shocked, to read anything about themselves.)
