I have been interested in the subject of e.learning for a long time. As a young teacher I have done my best to introduce e.learning to my work- I understand this is a must, without it our teaching will become obsolete. We simply should learn to speak the language of the new generation.. Still I have always been puzzled by the chaotic nature of this field, the lack of any accepted mappings of this "jungle" and the lack of systematic thinking starting with the aims of education and continuing to the ways e.learnign can serve them; as well as the lack of mapping of the major factors leading to the difficulties in introducing it .

All the training sessions on these issues I have taken part in and books I have read - focused on the practicalities and ignored the above more fundamental issues . This has always frustrated me.
